ഇന്ത്യന്‍ രുചികള്‍ ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഭക്ഷണ പ്രേമികള്‍ക്ക് ദു:ഖവാര്‍ത്ത. ഏതാണ്ട് മൂന്ന് പതിറ്റാണ്ടായി Dun Laoghaire ല്‍ ജോര്‍ജിയ സ്ട്രീറ്റില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന Shakira ഇന്ത്യന്‍ റസ്റ്റോറന്റ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു. റസ്റ്റോറന്റുമാി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വ്യക്തി ഇപ്രാകാരമായിരുന്നു ഫേസ് ബുക്കില്‍ റസ്റ്റോറന്റ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഇറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കിയത്.
‘It is with great sadness, we wish to inform our customers that Shakira Indian Restaurant, Dun Laoghaire is no longer in operation. We would like to thank all our customers for their loyalty and support over the last number of years (almost 27 years). Signing off!’

1) ‘I will always have the fondest memories of my many, many visits to Shakira’s, with the friendliest and nicest staff I’ve ever met. Tony (Singh) once saw me walking home and stopped his van to offer me a lift. Where else would you get that. Warmest wishes for the future to Tony, Rav, Adam, Darsham and all.
2) ’27 years- My goodness… loved going to you guys after work. Moved out of the area…but often went in to grab a take out when I was up that way. Best of luck in what ever you do next and thank you for the amazing food. You will be missed. A customer since 1997 ish–‘
